Operation Period (a project of Future Incubator) is a Gen-Z led organization advancing menstrual freedom by investing in young organizers, leading research, and transforming culture through media and community action.

After an especially painful period and encounters with those who could not afford their menstrual products, our founder, Manju Bangalore, built this organization in February 2015 to make sure no person who menstruates is ever held back by their period.

Over the past almost decade, we coined the term “menstrual freedom,” distributed over 300,000 menstrual products to those in need, hosted over 100 events around the world with partners, advocated at the local, state, and federal level for menstrual equity, made art and zines, and provided health education to thousands. 

We are scaling our impact like never before.
